On Friday morning, January 3, a thick fog enveloped several North Indian cities, including Delhi. That impairs sight and causes significant air traffic disruptions. Commuters were warned by the Delhi airport that flights that are not CAT III complaints might be impacted. For the most recent flight information, is suggested that travelers get in touch with the airlines. According to an official cited by news agency PTI, severe weather caused more than 100 planes to be delayed at the Delhi airport on Friday morning.

Due to poor visibility brought on by heavy fog, IndiGo Airlines issued travel advisories for a number of locations, including Guwahati, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Lucknow, and Amritsar.

IndiGo wrote in the latest tweet

“#6ETravelAdvisory: Due to significantly low visibility in #Srinagar and #Chandigarh, there have been changes to flight schedules. We recommend customers recheck their flight status before traveling to the airport http://bit.ly/3ZWAQXd. Wishing for clearer skies! SIC.”

“Another foggy morning is expected for #Delhi, #Bengaluru, and #Lucknow. We advise you to monitor your flight status before starting your journey. ”

Also stated,

“Additionally, please allow extra time when travelling to the airport, as reduced visibility might affect vehicle movement. Staying abreast of updates and planning ahead will help ensure a smooth travel experience. Happy Fri-yay everyone! SIC.”

SpiceJet also published an advisory for Amritsar. The airline stated,
