In its alert, IndiGo Airlines also warned about the low visibility. The airport had warned earlier on December 25. The low visibility conditions might potentially cause difficulties for flights that did not meet CAT III criteria. Category III, or CAT III, is an approach system that guarantees operational capability for complying planes and permits safe landings in limited visibility situations. At 5:30 am, the city’s visibility was measured at 100 meters due to heavy fog.
In addition to aircraft, there are delays on trains that are traveling to the nation’s capital. A total of 18 trains are running late. According to the news agency ANI, all trains are 200 minutes late. 20 trains were delayed earlier on December 25.

According to RWFC Delhi, most locations will get moderate fog in the morning, with isolated areas seeing deep fog. Additionally, very light to light rain was anticipated by the weather service throughout the evening and night. Furthermore, throughout this period, shallow fog is also anticipated.
Regarding its effects, it cautioned that certain highways, railroad routes, and airports may be impacted by the climate. Additionally, it issued a traffic warning.
