Sana was sitting beside the driver in the front seat. Media reports, citing informants, also stated that the car had minimal damage.
The bus driver was detained for dangerous driving after the family filed a complaint. In a different bus accident, a private bus struck two vehicles that had previously collided on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in the Dausa region of Rajasthan on January 2. This accident injured about 45 passengers.
