A bomb threat email to 40 schools says the bombs that were planted at several locations will be detonated if the ransom amount of $30,000 is not being paid. Therefore the police have assured the security of the children and the other present people of the Delhi school.
The email claimed that “small and hidden” bombs had been planted inside the school building and said
“It will not cause very much damage to the building, but many people will be injured when the bombs detonate.”
The series of threats began from the GD Goennka School in Paschim Vihar and DPS RK Puram Several other schools like Mother’s Mary School British School, Cambridge School, and Salwan Public School also have received the bomb threat stated by Delhi Police. This bomb threat to all the schools was sent via e-mail.
The treat email was sent on December 8 around 11:38 pm.
“I planted multiple bombs (lead azide, explosive compound used in detonators) inside the building. I planted multiple bombs inside the building. The bombs are small and hidden very well. It will not cause very much damage to the building, but many people will be injured when the bombs detonate. You all deserve to suffer and lose limbs. If I do not receive USD 30,000, I will detonate the bombs.”
Delhi Police also said
However, this morning, bomb threats were sent by email to Cambridge School, Salwan Public School, British School, and Mother Mary’s School.
Fire personnel, including the dog squad, bomb-detecting teams, and local police, have arrived at the schools and carried out the search operation. Students have been sent home.
Delhi Police Officer Sanjay Tyagi promised Delhi residents that their children and the school would be safe and that the police would quickly track out the email’s origin and take appropriate action.

We are ensuring the security of all the schools and the children and I would like to assure all the parents, and the people of Delhi that the police will make every possible effort to ensure the security of the children and the school and will ensure it.
