Karnataka Yellapur accident: Left 9 dead and many injured after truck carrying vegetables overturns in Yallapura

At least nine people including three children were killed and injured in the accident. A multi-utility vehicle rammed into a truck in the Uttara Kanda district on a Wednesday morning. This gruesome casualty took place on Wednesday morning.

 The accident occurred on the Ankola Gooty National Highway 63. The family was returning from a trip to the Kukke Subramanya.

All the victims are the residents of the Raibag taluk in the Belagavi district. They are also said to be the family members of the former Kudachi MLA Shama Ghatge. The driver of the MUV was also killed in the accident.

3. Son  Varadaraj(1.5 years)
4. Daughter  Vaishandevi (5)
5. Sister Renuka Chandrakanth KuKamble(30)
6. Nephew Abinav Chandrakanth Kamble(3) From Kamalapur
7. Gaurava Vasanth Metri(58) of Nidaguni
8. Sachin Madhulkar Jandenavar 28
9. Drive Mujju Alias Mujahid Naykwadi(32)

One of the injured persons also identified as Gajanan Bapu Metri(27) From Railbag along with the other two have been shifted to the hospital in Sirsi.
