Sudhir Kharkate, the security officer of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha, has been charged with assaulting and misbehaving with a biker girl from Wardha city. The girl named Ruchika Thakare filed a police complaint at the Ramnagar police station.
This shocking incident took place in the common public areas in Wardha, Maharashtra. Sudhir Kharkate started using abusive language against the girl and then physically assaulted her in broad daylight.
The entire incident was captured on camera. The video has gone viral still now it gained more than 1 million views. In the video, Sudhir Kharkate and his wife are seen verbally and physically assaulting Ruchika. This viral video sparked outrage among social media users and widespread outrage.
Following the incident there has been significant outrage among the university students and the local residents of Wardha. The student has submitted a complaint to the university vice-chancellor and demanded the suspension of Sudhir Kharkate.
Ruchika’s statement is that on January 17, a car intentionally crashed into her motorcycle. While she was just standing on her bike and fell down. The driver started to check for any damages due to the clash and bystanders came to help Ruchika.
Ruchika told Tahalka Wardha News that
First, the man started threatening her. She called her home for help. By this time driver’s wife came down from the car and started interacting. After a small interaction, both of them started to assault Ruchika physically. During the verbal fight man drove the car across Ruchika’s feet and left the scene.
Ruchika’s mother and brother came, and bystanders gave them ideas about the car’s driver. According to the statement, he stays nearby in a rented house. After the incident, Ruchika and her family reported the case to the police station.
